Appropriating Posts

Appropriating... I totally stole this post from Tree Hugger. You can read more at their original post. It feels like the perfect place to celebrate the Winter Soltice to me.
In the Northern Hemisphere, the Winter Solstice occurs on December 21, 2008 at 7:04 AM EST and while the beginning of winter marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year, I like to think of it marking the beginning of the days getting longer. We are on the upswing of the darkness and I will be driving to work in daylight soon.
